Not sure what to do for Fathers Day yet? We did some research and found 4 fun things you can do with Dad for Fathers Day in the Andovers!
1. Go Boating – Take a leisurely paddle on scenic Fosters Pond in Andover. There will be a public paddle from 1 to 4 pm on Fathers Day, and a limited number of canoes and kayaks available for public use, or you can bring your own.
2. Have Breakfast – Making Dad breakfast in bed is always a fun thing to do with the kids. Or, take him to a great local restaurant that will take care of the cooking for you! Check out Shawsheen Luncheonette in Andover or Joes Landing Cafe in North Andover.
3. Watch a Show – A fun family movie in theaters this weekend is How to Train Your Dragon 2, or if Dad likes musicals, take him to see The Sound of Music right in Andover.
4. Go for a Hike – The Friends of North Andover Trails are hosting a Guided Hike up Boston Hill. Explore a newly constructed trail that winds up the former ski slope before hiking a loop through beautiful Ward Reservation.
