It’s back! The annual 4th of July Fireworks in North Andover MA will be happening once again in North Andover. If you love family fun, this is a can’t miss. We’ve been to the festivities many times now, and have always had a great time.
The events happen on Thursday, July 4, 2024 and Saturday, July 6, 2024. Below you’ll find a complete schedule for all of the 4th of July events in North Andover MA 2024.

North Andover Road Race
- The North Andover Booster Club 4th of July Road Race on the North Andover Common
- 8:00 am – Kids Fun Run (.6 miles)

Fifth Annual Declaration of Independence Recitation
Thursday, July 4, 11:00AM – 1:30 AM Featuring State Representatives Tram Nguyen and Francisco Paulino reading the Declaration of Independence. You’ll also hear highlights from speeches by Frederick Douglass, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Jr & more.
And, the fun does not end on July 4th!
Saturday July 6th 2024
The North Andover Fireworks
The fireworks will take place on the evening of Saturday, July 6th. The fireworks will be set off from the North Andover Middle School area. Due to the extensive construction at NAMS, the Festival Committee strongly encourages you to view the fireworks from North Andover High School. You’ll get a perfect view of the fireworks show there! There are also plenty of other locations around town to view the fireworks as well. The Town Common and Patriot Park in addition to the North Andover High School are all excellent vantage points!
The Festival Committee has been working hard to secure ice cream trucks for the event. There will surely be pushcarts selling a wide variety of patriotic and glow in the dark paraphernalia as well! We’ll have more information on this when it becomes available.
Fireworks will begin when it’s dark, around 9pm. Rain date is Sunday, July 7th 2024.
